Destiny Unfulfilled: A Critique of the Harry Potter Series

As wonderful as the Harry Potter series is, some readers were left out in the cold. By targeting a younger audience, the series wound up glossing over some of the darker elements. As well, it wound up being episodic, with key characters (like Harry) left almost unchanged through the course of seven books. There were also problems of consistency (especially character consistency), and too many key events were resolved via luck (and similar miraculous means) rather than through the efforts of the main characters.

Destiny Unfulfilled is a detailed, book-length examination of the Potter series, focusing primarily on its weaknesses. It is available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle formats.
